Riverton Trolley Park

Portland peeps. Anyone know what is going on with the Riverton Trolley Park? I took the dog for a walk yesterday at the Riverton Trolley Park and it looks like the city ran a bulldozer through the park and removed a shit ton of trees. The park is pretty much tore up. It looks like they were trying to remove the small new growth trees, but they cut down a lot of older trees.
