Nexus 6P HDMI Out Fail

I was forced to break out my old Nexux 5 in order to use the SlimPort HDMI out to my TV so I could watch the Democratic Debate. I have a Sony Android TV (KDL65W850C). CNN does not have an Android TV app (yet). The CNN app on my 6P won't cast this debate correctly. Great. So Nexus 5 to the rescue. The fact the 6P doesn't have USB C to HDMI out is ridiculous (some sort of current video output). Google, this has to be fixed in the next Nexus phone and every phone from here on out. It just has to. There is no reason we shouldn't have this basic feature. I know you want people to use Cast. It doesn't work well. I'm sure people will say that the issue lies with the app creator. I don't care. Give me HDMI out on the phone. Add it back. It's needed.
