[Expansion] American Federation Proposes Union with CSA

• Preamble of the American Federation Constitution

As Masters Smith stood before the Congress of the CSA, the first words she uttered were these from the Constitution. She was to propose, as Ambassador to the CSA, that the two largest nations in the Americas unite. In her two hour speech, the main points were:

• The CSA will remain individual, and largely self governing.

• They would join the largest American GDP, including powerhouse states like Illinois, Nebraska, and others.

• The CSA would remain highly equal in the Central Council

• The AF and the CSA have been strong allies in the past

• The AF has one of the strongest, best rebounding, economies in the World

• The AF is at peace with all nations, and does not plan on going to war for another 5 years unless a supermajority council vote passes.

• The CSA alone, if they joined, would have enough votes in the Central Council to stop a supermajority from occurring.

After her speech, a rousing standing ovation from the Congress was given, and a vote for the Union was to be held tomorrow.

Early polls from voters show a 73% favor for joining the fair, honest, transparent Federation.
