About elite clues.

I am currently doing shadow creatures in priff for elites, I find I get them faster than jadinkos, is it known which is actually better? Does anyone know the effect of a ring of wealth on frequency of clues? What is the chance overall of getting any 3a piece or dye. I am planning to go for 100 elite clues on my new account, wish me luck.
