error 43 since the recent windows update.

Basically last night everything was perfectly fine, but before i turned off my pc it said to install updates which i did. I woke up today and turned on my pc to find that only one of my monitors were working and it was at 1280 x 720 and not the full resolution. I then go to device manager and see that my GPU had a caution sign next to it which read this "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" and right now the default driver is windows basic display driver and not my geforce GTX 960. I have been doing everything possible i can for the last 4 hours and it is so frustrating :( I've tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling, even the last windows update.

CPU - Intel core i5 6600k

motherboard - MSI Z170A GAMING PRO CARBON

Windows 10 64 bit

GPU - GeForce GTX 960

I'm not sure if i left out anything you guys need to know, but please help me, this absolutely sucks.
