Hero avatar usage in the Arena

Hello all. Since you can choose choose a hero avatar anytime, can someone explain to me which Avatar the AI uses in Rookie Arena?

The one you used at the time you registered the deck?

Or the last avatar you used when you personally played the deck?

Or the one you are using currently? <-- Because if I am going to experiment with other avatars, maybe it will mess the AI in the arena.
