T430 - funny wifi card?

Purchased a used T430. Internal wifi was not working, so decided to open up and see what is going on. There were 2 wires - blue and pink - and the space was for a full size (?) 1 inch x 2 inch card. The card that was in there only filled half the space and obviously did not belong. What do I have? Google says the 2 wires are for WWAN, but there were no wires for WIFI that I could see. Any help in finding the right card and getting this to work would be greatly appreciated.
