Scythe 2h Override (awesome)bug?

I've seen a few people with noxious scythes on their shoulders standing around priff and some others holding the scythe in the spear combat animation.. and all of them have been completely tight lipped about how it's done! Is anyone aware of how I can replicate this for myself? Thank you in advance.

Before anyone suggests this I am CERTAIN that keepsaking is not involved.
