PT License expiring?

After updating my PS4, PT is no longer in my library. I contacted the customer support line and the guy I talked with said that this is normal and that the licenses in people's libraries are supposed to be expiring/getting removed. I hadn't heard about this and it didn't sound right to me, so I then contacted SCEA and talked to their customer service manager whom pretty much gave me the same answer. Has anybody heard of this? Is there any way to get my license back?
