Handcarts

First timer. Driving in from Indianapolis with three others. Still trying to wrap my head around the parking/camping situation. How necessary would a handcart be for parking lot to campground set up? What kind of terrain are we talking between lot and campground? Any recommendation on a particular make or model of handcart? Any reliable retailers? Thank you!
