BA in Economics (Jobs)
Hey all you economics majors and undergraduates. Basically, I'm a student at my states flagship school (UMD) pursuing a bachelor of arts degree in economics. Long story short, I'm really not good at math, and don't enjoy, but will have calculus 1 , intro statistics, and basic econometrics under my belt upon graduation. With that said, do I have a "bad" degree? I've heard that econ degrees are only good if they're BS and rigorous in math. What job types are avaliable in the financial industry with this type of degree? Will it be difficult to find a job upon graduation? I plan on doing an administrative/research internship this summer if that means anything.
