I think I found what causes headshots to not register against shield operators. I'd like to get y'alls input.
So here's a video I captured yesterday of me shooting Blitz in the dome. I know it's not the best example but this was the only time I actually remembered to record getting robbed. http://xboxdvr.com/gamer/McDublin/video/16630612
As you can see, Blitz was shot in the head while in the middle of an animation; he was moving his shield. This got me thinking. Every time I've gotten robbed of a headshot while fighting a shield operator in patch 2.3, the shield has always been in motion. They've either gone from sprinting to running, running to sprinting, moving the shield down to aim down the sights, or moved the shield up when they stopped aiming down the sights. So it appears, to me atleast, that shield operators are immune to headshots if they're in the middle of an animation.
What are y'alls thoughts? Is this something commonly known? Or am I dead wrong?
