Flu prevention and Treatment

Earlier today my roommate was diagnosed with the flu. I didn't get a shot, and I'm not sure if I'll catch it or not.

My roommate was talking and petting my fuzzy when he thought he just had a cold.

Now I'm kinda freaking out that Quill or myself may be infected. So I have some questions.

If I am sick, should I limit my interaction with Quill? I'm the only one that can get him out since we share a room. How would I handle playtime without infecting him?

If Quill is sick, does anyone have any experience with treating ferrets with the flu?
