Computer won't start after reseating ram

Just built my pc, got it up in running with no problem, even installing all necessary drivers for the system. Until after I notice that the system is only running 4 of the 8 gb's of ram I had installed. So low and behold, one of my ram sticks isn't seated all the way. I put it back in and turn the computer back on only to see that it's only using 4 gbs. I decided to remove both sticks and reseat them to see if it fixed the issue, which in turn, made everything much worse.

My computer will 'turn on' but only for about 10-14 seconds until it will turn off again. My monitor says there is no input.

Any advice?
