Twisted Metal: Black, Snowy Roads endurance - Any tips?

I LOVE Twisted Metal: Black. I've been playing it since I was a little kid. I love it, it's a great game. But I'm no good at the Endurance Mode level for Snowy Roads, and I would like some tips on how to win. I'm trying to unlock the Freeway level. My usual tactics for beating this map (Environment Attack, Multiple Hits) aren't working :(
