Monsters to use for a gladiator arena? (5e)

I have been working on a campaign for the last week, and I wanted to have the players to participate in a gladiator arena. The players will probably be level 1 or 2 when they enter the arena. I have also been looking through my Monster Manual and nothing feels like it would fit. Thanks.
