Why the Athlon X4 860k in the budget suggestions?
Why do you suggest the Athlon X4 860k in the budget suggestions over something more modern like an i3 or celeron processor?
Is it strictly to shave the 30 bucks from an i3 build while still giving 4 cores over the Celerons duo core?
I mean with more and more games demanding high IPC and more and more features coming out with newer chipsets, isn't the x4 860k and the FM2+ just a little dated?
Just seems like this build for just a smidge more is quite a bit more modern. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant
