Looking for a source for glass gems

Hi all,

I'm trying to find some glass (or acrylic) gems to upgrade one of my favourite boardgames - which is set during medieval times.

I'm having a heck of time coming up with any that suit. Most of what I'm finding are foil-backed gems for jewelry making. That feels...off to me. Anyone have a good source on something a little more bonafide?
