Viewing 16:9 video on an ultrawide. Are there any programs that will fill the black bars with "ambient" light?

Hey guys, I just recently got a 21:9 monitor. I was looking for a program to view videos/movies in that will allow me to fill in the black bars on the sides with "ambient light" as shown in this picture here.

I know SVP does this but I was wondering if there were any simpler alternatives. Thank you all and have a nice day
