2006 Dodge Charger 5.7 Hemi w NAG1 Automatic Transmission - What Needs to be Done to Satisfy the TCM/ECM After Changing the Conductor Plate?
Greetings,
I took my father-in-laws show car to a mechanic for diagnostic after it went into limp mode. He says the conductor plate was broken and needed replacement. I feel comfortable doing the work, but obviously I don't have the capacity to connect with the TCM.
Assuming I do the mechanical repair myself, what needs to be done with the computer? Just clear the codes and reset limp in mode? Or is there more extensive "reprogramming" that needs to be done?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
p.s. the mechanic was aware of my intent to do the repairs myself and is being paid for his diagnostic work.
