Issue about activating windows?

I've had windows 10 since september with no issue and I put my PC to sleep and when I got back from class in the bottom right corner it says "Activate Windows: Go to Settings to activate windows"

I tried that and it says "Unable to activate windows at this time"

What is going on? I have never experienced this before.
