Helping my dad identify a font

This is the first time I've posted a picture to reddit, so forgive me if I'm doing it wrong... My dad was asked to engrave on top of this, to darken it. But, he didn't originally do it, so he doesn't know the font. I was thinking it's Albertus Roman, but it looks thicker/bolder. I didn't see a bold version of that font. Up a creek
