Need help with sync issues in Ableton

Hello fellow edm producers,

I have a problem in ableton, where I have an array of Insert FX on my Master (also 1 on the Sidechained Audio where almost everything goes through). At some points in my track I automate different Effects to turn on and/or off on every beat of a bar.

My problem is that the result sounds terribly out of sync. The desired effects are audible BEFORE the music reaches the measure where it should hit. Even when bouncing the track the sync issues are still there. Different Audio Output interfaces yield different results.

I am assuming it has something to do with buffering but weirdly enough nothing helpful pops up in google searches when I search for that term. I also tried increasing buffer size and delay but it doesn't change a thing.

Is there someone here who had to deal with similar problems and knows the solution to it? Cheers
