My real life 3D vision is about 45° due to my facial features (deepset eyes, larger nose). My DK2 offers about 80° overlap for 3D vision. I wonder what long term impact this creates in the brain process.

Something tells me in the future you'll have a 3D scan of your face to help recreate what you see in real life as your nose, brows and cheeks do get in the way. Until then, some people like myself get better than real life vision in regards to 3D overlap when using headsets. It offers the question would people bother to limit their vision in the virtual reality headsets in such a manner. Would be be a benefit?

Anyway, with this extra information I'd assume my brain works a bit more to process it in some fashion. However, I also know anything outside the fovea area isn't in detail. It's possible my brain just doesn't care if it can finally see through my nose and there's this bigger overlap.

Sorry for the shower thought.
