Meeting other riders

So I'm an introvert, no question (shocking on Reddit, I know). I don't have any riding buddies and would like some. The guys from canyonchasers.net live nearby and do regular meet ups (among other groups). I've gone to a couple, but I just don't click, even though I'd like to. I feel like I'm just uninteresting, and I don't know how to break the ice.

How do I break the shell and meet new riders? I suck at the whole social interaction thing in every aspect of my life, so I'm hoping for some tips on how not to be a moto-loner. I'm even up to taking flash cards to guide me. :)
