Can't redeem codes?

For some reason I can't redeem code cards. it recognizes the code but when I hit redeem it says "unknown server error". I play the card game at my local shop all the time and have tons of code cards I can't use since the game won't let me. Anyone know any reason or fixes for this issue? thank you for any answers given.
