Under $5 hosting with adequate bandwidth
Long story short, I have $94 on AdSense, but one needs to reach $100 in order to claim the money. I abandoned the site with which I made the money long time ago, so now I want to make a quick viralnova-ish blog to reach the sum needed, and then either invest it on improving the site, or abandon my sad attempt at the monetize-sites field of work forever. I've already bought a .com domain on NameSilo, now I need a host. I've looked at the sub-$5 range, and (after a quick search, recommend as you wish) I'm considering https://lithiumhosting.com/hosting and https://www.veerotech.net/ but on the first case I wonder if 3 GB/100 GB will be enough, and in the second I question the nature of the so-called "unlimited" bandwidth. Must also be noted, that there seems to be a "renewal" price for all hosts, that is different from the "entry" cost advertised on the site, so how do I know I won't get charged $10 for the second month on any of these? Where do I see this cost? And how come there are hosts offering "unlimited" bandwidth for mere $2, but then the much-beloved https://asmallorange.com/ is $5 for 50 GB? Where's the catch?
Though this question is mostly focused for the first months of hosting or so, my biggest fear is that I'm planning on buying the cheapest Facebook Ads slot, and I don't want to do so only to find out it works and that the traffic received will cripple the site.
Hope you can help!
Thank you very much for the varied responses! I'm considering my alternatives now...
