Barrows Icon Bug

Hi, I was doing the temple at sennenstein quest and went to retrive the barrows icon from the chest. I searched the chest at the end and text comes up saying I found the icon azzandria was looking for, but it closes and the icon wont go into my inventory. The quest journal hasnt updated and is still saying I need to get the icon. I spent a few days grinding 95 pray all the pre-requisite quests and it's so frustrating that I can't get it =/ any help?
