Vintage Jewelry. Brown Translucent Bracelet

So I have this carved bracelet which I thought was bakelite but after running some tests I found it was not. It smells kinda sweet under hot water.

I know the picture is really crappy and doesn't do it justice but it glows green under UV light. I was wondering what might the material be made of?
