Can plagiocephaly be treated in teens?

Hi, I have plagiocephaly and I'm wondering if it can be treated in teens. It really sucks having it because I always have to hide it and I can't have short hair because I look like a freak. My mom told me that I have it because I always slept on my back but I read that it usually fixes itself. None of my family has it and I'm pretty sure it's not genetic. Is there any treatment at all for something like this? Surgery?
