I have to read a 400 page book in a month. How do I go about reading it?

I always end up sitting down for a minute, reading about half a page, before getting extremely bored and doing something else. The subject doesn't interest me very much, but it's for school, so I really don't have much of a choice. What strategies I employ to read the entire book within a month?
