[Question]Does the Warrior of Sunlight covenant increase the summoning range?

I'm wondering if it works the same way as it did in the last two games where it made the summoning range wider and allowed you to stay summoned in for longer.

My friend is trying to summon me into his world and for the life of me we cannot get it to work. We use the password system set up so that should negate the fact that I'm level 58 with a +5 ASS, while he's level 25 with a +2 sword.

Network Settings: Cross-region play: Matchmaking off Password Matching: a full length password Summon sign visibility: Restricted Voice chat: allowed

I know some of those don't matter. He's able to summon other players and I'm able to summon other players as well, but we can't figure out why he can't see my summon sign no matter how many times we try. I have him joining the Warriors of Sunlight now, an answer and any connectivity tips would be much appreciated, he's one of my closest friends and we've cooped every DS+BB so far so he's gotta be able to join me lol.
