Winters Run questions

So I wanted to do the new version of winters run. Did the heroic strikes Playlist from the vanguard. Got winters run but it was not the taken version. Just the year one version but the enemies were level 41 and drops were over 170. Am I missing something? What strike should I be looking for? Anyway to access it besides heroics?
