Trying to save relationship, SO might be cheating, Need help please.
I don't really know where to turn to, most of our friends are all shared friends and I am desperately trying to save our relationship of almost 10 years.
So, ever since we had our son (who is now 2) our relationship has been very strained. I have had trouble finding regular work that has consistent pay to help provide a stable income, this has been a massive source of stress for both of us. I have been struggling with clinical depression and don't have the finances (or proper motivation) to seek continuous help, which is making a bad situation worse.
The last few months have been especially rocky and now I have found out that my SO's coworkers are pressuring her to leave me. Its good to point out, they dont know me (with the exception of meeting me at a company camping trip last summer) and my SO tends to vent to them (so they really only know the negativity things about me). But now I have found out that one of her coworker have "set her up" with a guy and they have been texting. One night she said that she had to work late for a special over time project, turns out she was getting an early dinner with mystery guy (while me and our son waited for her at home).
I dont think they have actually slept together or anything, but the whole situation is alarming. Their texts read like ours used to when we first met, flirty (asking each others "favorites" and Likes/dislikes). He, as far as i know, is oblivious to the fact that she is in a (rocky) relationship and thinks he was just set up on a blind date sorta thing.
I have my faults, she has hers, mine are far more numerous than hers. She works in a doctors office and has a bachelors degree, I barely can find a job as a line cook and dropped out of community college. We are in our late twenties and have been together since senior year of highschool.
I know this sounds cheesy, but she is my soulmate and I want to grow old with her (and always have). I dont believe in a perfect relationship, any couple that doesnt have issues and doesnt fight every once in a while are just hidding them selves from the other and being dishonest. I dont want my son to grow up in a broken family. I want to be a better SO, but struggle with bettering my self.
I just dont know what to do.
Sorry this is so long, I tried to make it abridged, it didnt work out very well.
