Stolen Valuables Recovered in Godric's Hollow

PLOT

(Godric's Hollow, DP) Residents of Godric's Hollow woke up Wednesday morning to find authorities swarming in and out of an old shop originally believed to be abandoned. Sources indicated that a stash of stolen goods had been recovered from the location. This reporter has found the items in question are very expensive scraps of paper.

A shop owner in Ottery St.Catchpole has come forward, saying that the scraps are his. His paper shoppe, Mr. Matte's Multi-Ply Paper Arts of Greater Ottery St.Catchpole, had evidently been broken into late Tuesday evening after close with the thieves making off with several reams of his finest paper. Authorities confirm that it was his paper sourced for the strange paper shapes; however, they refuse to say anything more.

“It was my finest, I could have charged more for it than any of my vellums. Hand made, a good heavy weight, five layers of pulverized...well..a very rare wood,” said the understandably upset owner. The stolen goods total 27 reams of paper speculated to be made from a crossbreed of a whomping willow and an elder tree.

Crimewatchers are concerned this incident could be tied to a number of crimes that have been plaguing shop owners throughout the magical kingdom as of late. The paper shoppe owner, Mr. Matte disagrees, however, that the act is anything for others to worry about.

“Hooligans, nothing more.”
