I read my family's FB walls after a year and half of NC

After about a year and half of NC with my 70 yr old mom, I am emotionally OK and reading messages, posts, etc would not upset me that much. I decided to go to her wall to see if she died or she is still living. Curious. No one knows how to contact me, so no one would know how to tell me that she died. Two other cousins unfriended her (both females). The other two do not post or like as far as I can see. My brother's GF unfriended her too. This confirmation was valuable.
