Too many reassigns?

I jjust started Postmates last week as a walker in nyc. Lately I've been getting some jobs that are way too far to walk i.e. east village to lower Central Park area. I've had to reassign about 3-4 a day lately. Every time I talk to the support on the phone I ask if it'll count against me and they just tell not to worry and there's nothing they can do about it. I kept pressing for an answer on the last call and the operator vaguely told me if have to start taking jobs and see what happens, then abruptly ended the call. Should I be concerned? I don't want to take jobs that I know will end up being late.
