Getting power charges with totems

Hey guys, I am coming back to the game after a long hiatus and was wondering if there are any new methods to obtain power charges for your character when your totem kills mobs. The reason I am asking this is because I have two void batteries and I used to play a totem build with them in which you had to use alternate skills in order to generate power charges (outside of just casting totems/curses). Would really like to use these wands in a totem build without having to micromanage power charge upkeep. Anyone know of a way to do this?
