Newest update "cannot install?"

~~I've tried installing the newest update for KOT, but at the very last moment, the install ends, and it gives me the message "Cannot install" with literally no explanation.

For reference, I play via a Kindle Fire v7 (I think that was it? I'm not savvy at kindle fire versions).

Don't tell me they ditched older versions of devices and simply cut off all support for them, because that'd be complete bullcrap TBH.~~

EDIT: I fixed it, somehow. I just turned off the kindle and turned it back on again and it worked. I dunno why I didn't think of it before, but I also hope nobody in the future has this struggle, and this solution doesn't work.
