What kind of mobo will I need to be able to utilize DirectX12's cross platform sli/crossfire?

I heard that DX12 will allow you to crossfire/sli cards from both platforms (amd and nvidia) and was wondering if I'd need a mobo that has both sli and crossfire capabilities?
