Constructive Dismissal?

Hi I have been working at a distribution center for Aritzia in BC Canada for about 6 months now, however I had not been scheduled any shifts for well over a month, so I stopped checking my schedules online. I asked my supervisors about this over email and I was told that there were not enough work for me to come in. I thought it was a polite way to say that I had been laid off. So I found a new job. However this morning I received a text from my girlfriend who told me that she checked my online schedule for Aritzia and told me that I had a shift tomorrow as well as another day later this week. I will not be able to make these shifts as I already have another job. This makes me feel that the company is deliberately trying to get me fired or at least doing something very shady. This causes a huge amount of inconvenience for me as I do not want to get a bad record for future job references. Is there anything I can do? Thanks
