Waste Disposal Unit is a new guild formed with the express purpose of learning and defeating raids! In only 2 weeks we went from a handful of players that had never raided to world-class champions^1 with countless^2 raids under our belt! Our handsome^3 and friendly^4 members are opening our ranks for the good of the community^5 and you can apply today!

We have no requirements regarding previous raids and in fact prefer to help players learn to raid, many of us are relatively new to raiding ourselves and those with experience are glad to share!

Right now we have reached a point where we have a stable foundation of classes and a couple wins under our belt, and want to expand our membership to field more weekly raids with multiple teams so we have more experienced players to teach more new players!

Also in addition to raiding a number of our members (including myself) host daily runs of Dungeons and Fractals for the purposes of teaching new players, completing achievements, and getting tokens for collections and gear.

We currently raid 3 times a week, Monday/Thursday/Saturday at 17:30gmt but are opening new time slots and days as more players become available. Guild Missions are on Tuesday with a repeat on Wednesday for anyone that missed them.

REQUIREMENTS

Communication: We don't need you to write an essay into guildchat every time you are on, but if there is a scheduled raid (ESPECIALLY one you signed up to join) and you are online we expect some sort of response when the call goes out to form up. We are not aiming to be a "friendly family" sort of guild but if you never respond and never chat don't expect to stay on the roster long. We use TS during raids, you don't need to talk but you will be expected to listen during raids.

Attendance: If you sign up for a raid, show up. We all have real life or connectivity issues and hey that's fine, but if we have to turn others away for a scheduled raid because you signed up and then scramble to fill the empty slot on the scheduled time it's not fair to anyone. In fact people signing up and not appearing is a large reason I am typing this right now.

Gear/Builds: All-ascended perfect gear is NOT required, we prefer Ascended weapons and trinkets with Exotic armour, but proper stats and runes for your build is much more important. If you are unsure of what good gear and build for your class/role is we are here to help! Even if you are not fully geared now feel free to join, we can help you work towards being prepared.

Attitude: Check your elitism at the door, but at the same time understand that you can't just play whatever you want and win. We have a lot of different people in our guild that have varying skill levels, so if you are newer don't take offence to advise from more experienced players, and on the same token if you are more experienced don't be demeaning or belittling to players that are less experienced than you. Also obviously don't be a jerk to other members in a more general sense.
