Franchise Mode with multiple users

So me and about 10 college buddies have always done the franchise mode on 2K and Madden. I bought The Show and we are all really excited to start our new franchise. Since we all live in the dorms it is an offline league. Has anyone ever done something like this? I'm a huge RTTS guy so I don't usually dabble in franchise mode. We only play the games where it is user vs user. All the other games get simmed. So would you recommend that when we have a user vs user series, we play each game of the series? Or should the two users agree on playing just one of the games. We only have 1 month left of school and we will go our separate ways so we would like to finish at least one season. I'm just worried that with 162 games and 10 guys playing we won't finish the season. If you have any recommendations or ground rules you apply please let me know!
