Neighborhood for young professional?

I'm 22- fresh out of college. I have no debts, 3k saved away, and secured a job paying around 45k.

I will be working at NBC Universal (around LACMA area). My question is: where should I live?

I like to be surrounded by people my age (under 30's). I'm an outgoing person both during the day and night. Nightlife is important, but I don't necessarily have to live right next to it, as lyft makes is convenient to get around.

Do note that I will not have a car. I would prefer a neighborhood that would take under 45 minutes to get to and from work (via public transportation). Are there any neighborhoods that fit me? I'm willing to pay at most $1400/month for a studio or 1 BR if possible.

Thank you in advance!
