A Calm Morning

Petyr Hornwood had been away from home for 3 days now. He had been moving close to Winterfell so he could stay ahead of any possible Stark movements if there was conflict. He was 4 days out from Winterfell at the time. It was an early morning the sun just barely creeping above the horizon. In this moment Petyr had stopped and sat by a small pond just taking the beauty of the Northern morning. Petyr had stopped moving, and all of sudden he forgot about everything. He forgot about Steffon, and his misdeeds. He forgot about the possible death of his house and was lost in the Morning. Petyr sat at the pond and thought of what had happened before Steffon had taken over. He remembered the week before the death of Jon Hornwood

Petyr had been out partying the night away when Jon Hornwood had fallen off his horse. When Petyr had arrived home he was informed that his uncle was asleep and not expect to wake up. Petyr was to drunk at the time for the news to register, but he knew this meant. A very young Steffon was going to take the seat. The night had ended with Jon Hornwood dead in his bed and Steffon Hornwood shaking in his boots at the new task.

The next day was violent. It started withe a heated argument between Steffon and Galbart, Petyr's father

"I don't like him, but he is my brother!" Steffon screamed at his uncle.

"He is a threat to your seat has the head of the house and must be removed." Galbart responded with cooly.

Steffon stomped around the room heated with anger at his uncle "I will not sit here and have YOU tell Me how to rule, and who is a threat. This is the end of this and I will hear no more of it." Steffon said as he stormed out the room in anger.

Galbart wasted no time scheming to remove Cregan Snow from the house. He had stolen the seal in the Lord's absence and forged a note telling Cregan snow that he is to leave for the Wall or die in the morning. He then slipped the note to Cregan when he was asleep. After he awoke and read the note he was gone the next morning. Petyr didn't remember anything Cregan had said during the time.

As the time slipped back to Petyr he re saddled his horse and continued his travel with a certain peace about him
