Losing Inches, Gaining Muscle, Not Losing Weight. Help my Diet!
So I've been working out for about 4 weeks now. Changed my diet and everything. I can visually and physically tell I'm losing inches and gaining muscle, but my macros seems to be really low.
I am 5'8" and weigh 228lbs.
Tues-Friday I work out. Lift weights lets say moderately. I"m doing four sets of twelve. Takes me around 45 minutes. I used to be in shape and work out a lot so I know fairly well what I'm doing there.
Then I use the elliptical for 30 minutes and it says I burn around 300 calories.
Here are what I eat daily Morning Shake: 10g protein, 190cals, 25gcarbs, 6g fat
1 Cup Rice: 12g protein, 440 cals, 84g carbs, 6g fat
1 Cup Chicken: 43g protein, 231 cals, 0 carbs, 5g fat
1 Cup Vegatables: 4g protein, 90cals, 18g carbs, 0 fat
4 Tbsp of Yum Yum Sauce: 0 protein, 340 cals, 10g carbs, 34g fat
1 Protein Bar: 6g protein, 140 cals, 17g carbs, 6g fat
2 scoops of Protein after working out: 40g protein, 180 cals, 4.5 carbs, 1g fat
Total daily: 115 grams Protein, 1171 Calories, 158.5 Carbs, 58 gFat
So with these numbers I feel like my protein needs to be around 150grams, and I feel my calories are low. Shouldn't the lowest should be around 1500. Other than that I have no idea.
I cant say I'm tired working out, I have good energy, but I'm not losing any weight. But getting stronger for sure.
I would like suggestions on changing my macros, burning more calories, or any other ideas anyone has.
Thank you ahead of time for the help.
