[Spoiler] Regarding ________'s idiocy at TC

Spoiler

The Girls and Joe alliance.

It actually amazes me that people think that this move was smart in any way. Over the last 24 hours I've seen several "arguments" for why voting out Debbie was a good idea and really I don't think these arguments hold up.

  • voting out debbie was good because eliminated a liability. Was she a liability? Yeah, but that doesn't mean that voting her out here was a good idea. They could've flushed the idols out and instead they voted out their own person out. They essentially did the work for the boys here.

  • Cydney had to make this vote because she would've been voted out otherwise. She had no way of knowing that she was the target so this move wasn't a smart reaction move it was a lucky one for her. And since they've targeted her once they'll probably come after her again.

  • If they don't split the vote they risk being the one to go home. You gotta take risks sometimes. Gambling now at 20% is better than what they'll be doing next week when they'll be gambling with 25%-33% odds. Gambling with 5 also would've meant being even with no more idols in play. Instead at best it will be three on four with no idols.

All in all, this was an incredibly stupid move for everyone in the alliance but Cydney for whom it was an incredibly lucky one. At this point the best they can hope for is Tai being as stupid as they were and flipping, but I personally do not see that happening. Aubry hurt herself, and Joe, massively by voting out debbie eliminating someone who would've taken both of them to the end. IMO Michele would be better off jumping ship and going back to the other side.
