Any good fantasy books/series that stand apart from the rest?

Looking for a good fantasy series that isn't full of the usual cliche plot lines and isn't predictable. To give you an idea of some fantasy novels that I've read in the past year: The Way of Kings, Pendragon, Steelheart.
