Graduating next month with an AE/ME BS - a few quick questions

I'm graduating next month with my bachelor's with a double major in mechanical and aerospace engineering. I already have a full time job lined up and I'm working part-time at the company before moving into my full-time position. I have a couple of questions:

1). Are there any tools/texts you use regularly? I was thinking of bringing my copy of Shigley's in to work to keep handy and I was trying to think if anything else would be useful. 2). Besides the income, what's your favorite part about going in to work everyday?
