Physic goal CHI vs POR Game 2

As the puck doesn't appear to be crossing the line and looks like it is sliding right on the center of it

As physics goals do occur in the game but they are still rare

The BoC has declared the play a no goal.

In-game replays will be used as often as we can for the remaining of the playoff and going into next season in hope that we can better judge situations like this.

This leaves the question of the follow up goal:

This game having no pause button, never could we stop the game to review the potential goal on the spot.

In the event where:

-No call is made in game by the BoC either to put it in or to keep playing

-The goal is ambiguous enough for teams to disagree on whether or not it was a physic goal and eliminates the possibility of a player by either team just putting the puck into the net. (This effectively restarting the play and allowing for a potential review later.)

It is the responsibility of the players to keep playing the game as it were and wait for after the game for review.

This is going to be the general guide line for situations like this in the future.

It is true that such guideline wasn't made in place before the event of game 2.

As we can't know how the play would have unfolded if the confusion over the goal would not have happened,

As the mechanics of the games dictate that the only interruptions of the play are registered goals and intermissions, in the absence of a referee being able to stop the play and decided on a call,

The BoC has ruled that the play had to continue and the goal from Beegeepee stands.

The game remains 2-0.
